The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Childrenís P.A.mper 2006 event, sponsored for the second year running by PA/secretarial and administrative recruitment consultancy, Crone Corkill, has, to date, raised 34,484. The money raised will enable NSPCC to recruit a special investigator to monitor the NSPCC website for paedophile activity.

Held at the Four Seasons Hotel on Park Lane on 1 December, P.A.mper has been described as ìthe best thank you everî for top PAs and secretaries. Bosses were encouraged to show their appreciation to their hard-working PAs by inviting them to the luxury afternoon.

Tracy Durrant, managing director of Crone Corkill, said: ìSupporting good causes such as the NSPCCís P.A.mper event is an important aspect of Crone Corkillís culture. It is very proud to help raise such a fantastic amount of money for such a worthwhile cause, one that is important to our candidates, clients and consultants.î

Organised by Crone Corkill, NSPCC and senior PAs from the likes of Ernst and Young, Oracle and ABN Amro, guests were treated to a champagne reception, gourmet three-course lunch and an entertaining speech by ëBazaar and Chanel Entrepreneur of the Yearí, Ms Mich Turner of the Little Venice Cake Company. To add to the indulgence of the afternoon, there were opportunities for guests to pamper themselves with beauty treatments, fabulous raffle prizes, including a diamond pendant and Christmas shopping at the P.A.mper boutique.

Crone Corkill will continue its headline sponsorship of NSPCCís P.A.mper event in 2007, to be held at the Four Seasons Hotel, Park Lane, on Friday, 7 December 2007.
