National IT recruitment firm, Veritas IT has taken on seven new members of staff to manage the increased business across the firmís Bristol, London and Milton Keynes offices. Appointments made range from project resourcers to account managers.
The new faces are: Chris Cameron, Colin Raynes, Rob Bizley, Michaela Morgan, Mark Burnham, Dave Tainton and Cheryl Hancock. The human resources manager at Veritas IT, Vanessa Smith said: ìGood communication skills and tenacity are very important in recruitment. The seven new members of the team come from very different backgrounds but all share the same levels of enthusiasm and drive to succeed so weíre glad to welcome them on board.î
The four new account managers are Colin Raynes, Chris Cameron, Cheryl Hancock and Rob Bizley. Colin will be working from the Milton Keynes office where his 18 months of experience in primarily engineering recruitment and a history of managing over 30 staff and generating 250K/month of business will prove invaluable. Cheryl will also be working from Milton Keynes where her time at both Hays IT and Generic recruitment will stand her in good stead. Music graduate, Chris will be based in Bristol and using his experience of recruiting project managers for the public sector to good effect. Rob will be working out of the London office.
New recruits to the Milton Keynes delivery team are Michaela Morgan and Dave Tainton who have started as resourcers. Michaela joins from software consultants, Generic, where she managed a number of project rollouts and looked after a team of nearly 30 engineers. Dave has swapped a life perched perilously on rooftops fitting satellites for a job where his feet are firmly on the ground.
The seventh recruit is Mark Burnham who is also based at Milton Keynes and heíll be responsible for scheduling project resources. As a former contractor and field engineer, Mark will prove invaluable sourcing the ideal calibre of candidates for contract and permanent roles. His knowledge of EPoS technology, having built and configured some 700 tills, will also make him an important point of contact for Veritas ITís retail clients.
