Norman Broadbent, the executive search and leadership consultancy firm, today announces that it has been granted CarbonNeutral status by The CarbonNeutral Company, one of the leading climate carbon offset and change consultancies, which helps organisations measure and reduce the CO2 from their organisations and then ëoffsetí unavoidable emissions.
With the growing importance of climate change, many organisations, especially government departments, are modifying their supply chain to reflect their requirement for suppliers with green credentials, including executive search consultants.
Todayís approval makes Norman Broadbent the first executive search firm in the UK to be carbon neutral and to be granted the CarbonNeutral quality mark, thus leading its sector with a clearly demonstrable climate change policy. Lucy Theaker, Consultant in the firmís Industry and Manufacturing Practice, is championing the companyís sustainability drive and has led the CarbonNeutral Status initiative, whilst also actively encouraging clients to take advantage of the changes to business due to environmental concerns.
Commenting on the accreditation, Ms Krista Walochik, Chief Executive Officer, Norman Broadbent said, ìOur achievement in becoming the first CarbonNeutral executive search firm reinforces our position as a pioneer in the industry. We donít just say we are measurably different but show that we are.
ìCarbonNeutral status is increasingly important to our stakeholders: the leading client organisations we work with, the communities in which we live, our shareholders and our staff. This initiative reinforces our position as one of the leading executive search firms.î
