City firm GCS, the IT recruitment specialists, continues its impressive growth by announcing its Interim Results to 1st November 2006, showing a 20% increase in turnover. If this trend continues until the end of the companyís financial year, it will have grown by 57% in just two years.
ëThis is an excellent set of results,í comments GCS Director, Martin Smith. ëAfter a steady start, 2006 has turned out to be a very good year for IT recruitment and a very good year for GCS. We have also benefited from a buoyant market in Europe and our French results are particularly strong; the team there has increased its business by 140%. Therefore, we are on track across all of our divisions to beat our 2006/07 targets.í
In addition to a rise in turnover, GCS continues to grow its staff base and is looking to expand its offices in the UK and overseas.
