s1jobs has been voted Best Regional Job Site at the National Online Recruitment Awards, for the fourth year running. It is the first time in the Awardsí history that any site has won its category four years in succession.
Votes were cast by members of the public, with the most popular websites in each category making a shortlist of five finalists. Sites were judged on volume of vacancies and visitors, ease of use, facilities for job seekers and prominence in their target market.
Mark Smith, s1 Managing Director, said: ìs1jobs has always set out to provide world class services to jobseekers and employers alike, so weíre delighted that our peers have recognised this yet again. Itís unprecedented to win any of the NORA awards four times in a row which I think speaks volumes for our very talented team of innovators.î
The Award has come at the same time as the busiest ever month for s1jobs, during the month of October the site attracted in excess of 340,000 unique users.
s1jobs launched in January 2001 and immediately became the market leading recruitment website in Scotland. Many of the UKís and Scotlandís top employers recruit through the site, including Dell, RBS, O2 and Scottish Power.
