Legal recruiter shortlisted for CBIís Growing Business Awards

Legal recruiter Laurence Simons International, has been shortlisted in the ëInternational Company of the Yearí category of the CBIís Growing Business Awards.

Although Laurence Simons has been recruiting overseas since its founding in 1988, its overseas business has grown by more than 25% in the past year and now accounts for over 50% of total revenues. In the same period the company has also doubled the size of its teams in Paris and Sydney, doubled the size of the team that handles Eastern Europe and Eurasia from London, developed a team focused on the Middle East, increased its Irish team by a third and recruited two key players in Hong Kong to establish a presence in the increasingly important Chinese market. As a result Laurence Simons now recruits into 33 countries around the world in contrast to just six a decade ago.

The finals of the Growing Business Awards will be held on November 30, 2006 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
