As Rockpools this month celebrates its two year anniversary, it welcomes a number of specialist consultants and managers to its growing team.
Elaine Hewens has joined Rockpools as a consultant concentrating on leadership development across the public, private and third sectors. With a diverse career spanning professional horseracing, HR management, recruitment advertising and career development, Elaine brings to Rockpools a wealth of expertise. Most recently, she worked for the Warwick Business School, concentrating on leadership skills within the global MBA population as head of their Career Development centre.
Sarah Palmer, former Assistant Director of Information and Communications at the Local Government Employers, has joined Rockpools as a consultant specialising on local government, diversity, ICT and knowledge management. Sarahís local government career also includes heading up the Local Authorities Race Relations Information Exchange (LARRIE) and leading local governmentís response to the Stephen Lawrence Inquiry.
Esther Green has joined Rockpools as Bid Manager, working across the business with partners and consultants to coordinate Rockpoolsí bids and develop the firmís quality systems, customer care and information management. She joins Rockpools from the London Borough of Hackney where, most recently, she project managed the initiation of Hackneyís flexible working programme, which will introduce major changes to staff working patterns and service delivery, in line with innovations elsewhere in the private and public sectors. A commitment to public service led Esther to become an elected Member herself in the London Borough of Lambeth in the late 1990s.
