Micro J announced the beta release of a new software product under the development code name ìSearchlightî today. Micro J is currently accepting applications for the first phase of the beta program from now through September 20, 2006. The Searchlight software development project is a radical departure from Micro Jís current PcHunter and Tempus Fugit software lines.
The launch of this beta program will put Micro Jís very first Windows native software offering into the hands of a select group of early adopters who will participate in the final phase of development leading to the release of the new Searchlight recruiting and staffing management software. The Beta test version will only be available to current Micro J software customers, who will be able to automatically convert all existing Micro J data to the new SQL server program.

ï A completely redesigned database. Searchlight supports Microsoft SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2005 Express and SQL Server 2000 for highly scalable deployments.
ï Support for open standards of data exchange including HR-XML and read/write ODBC access. NET

ï Visual record navigation based on PcHunterís intuitive format and the all new ìSmart Boxî intelligent
data entry system.
