HRsmart Named One of Texasí Fastest Growing Technology Companies in Deloitteís Texas Technology Fast 50 Program Attributes Emerging HR Roles and Technology Solutions to its 825-Percent Revenue Growth

HRsmart has been named to Deloitte’s prestigious Texas Technology Fast 50 Program, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in Texas by Deloitte and Touche USA LLP, one of the nationís leading professional services organizations. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2001ñ2005.

HRsmart’s CEO Mark Hamdan credits an increased focus on efficient, cost-effective talent acquisition within organizations, which drives the need for innovative technology, with the company’s 825-percent revenue growth from 2001ñ2005. Hamdan said, ìOver the past five years, many organizations have increased their focus on acquiring good, solid talent quickly while controlling costs through automation. HRsmart’s increase in revenues of 825-percent from 2001 to 2005 resulted in an 8 ranking in the Texas Technology Fast 50. The average increase in revenues among companies who made the Texas Technology Fast 50 for this region was 2,225 percent.

To qualify for the Texas Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2001 and $5,000,000 in 2005, be headquartered in Texas, and be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies’ technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.

Winners of the 16 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in Deloitteís Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North Americaís top 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies.
