Growing Company recognises internal talent

One of the talents in financial recruitment has been promoted to a senior role to reflect her significant achievements. Emma Halls is now a director of Finance Professionals, part of the Hydrogen Group, which specialises in placing qualified finance and accounting professionals into investment banks, FTSE and Fortune firms. In her new position, Emma will continue to drive the companyís growth within the banking and financial services sector, in particular the Investment and Alternative Investment Management business.

Emma joined Finance Professionals in 2001 as a recent graduate. She started as a trainee on the Research team and soon moved to Industry and Commerce as a consultant. After a short time, Emma was identified as an individual with significant potential and transferred to a more senior position in the Banking division. Emma was responsible for adding several key accounts to the business and for developing old accounts to become their number one supplier.

Due to her natural leadership capabilities, Emma was promoted to team leader in 2003, driving the team into a pre-eminent market position. In 2004, Emma was promoted to manager and took over running Finance Professionalsí Front Office team. Emma reinvigorated and redefined the teamís offering, which now provides a unique proposition to both candidates and clients.

At the beginning of 2006, Emma took responsibility for creating and building Finance Professionalsí Investment and Alternative Investment Management business. The team has already won important PSLs and is fast establishing a reputation in the market as a key player. Emma was promoted to Director in August 2006 and will be taking Finance Professionalsí Banking and Financial Markets products on to new levels and markets.

I have seen a lot of positive changes and developments within the company during my five years here, and am proud to have played a significant role in our achievements. I look forward to helping take the business from strength to strength in the future.
