RCSA awards engineer recruitment leader WA Recruitment Excellence Award 2006

The Recruitment and Consulting Services Association (RCSA) WA Region has awarded founder of Perthís engineering recruitment agency, Technical Resources, Mr Nick Iustini MRCSA, the RCSA Western Australia Recruitment Excellence Award for 2006.

The award recognised Mr Iustiniís embracing of the RCSAís Professional Code for Professional Practice, his contribution to the profession through practice, application and personal development.

ìThe level of professionalism Nick has set for recruiting in the engineering sector and his active involvement with the RCSA could not go unnoticed,î CEO of the RCSA, Ms Julie Mills, said.

ìAs a former engineer, he has shown a very high level of interest in utilising the RCSA for personal and professional development to be successful in the recruitment industry.

ìHe has completed many RCSA courses and regularly participates in industry events,î she said.

Over his 18 years in the recruitment industry, Mr Iustini has been a Committee Member, Vice President and President of the WA region, Chair of the SIG Technical and National Board Member of the RCSA.

He has also been involved with the National Board on Committees, dealing with issues such as the implementation of the GST and alienation of Personal Services Income, as well as supporting Technical Colleges and Universities with advice on career development.

ìThe RCSA has allowed me to be a part of a group committed to good work practices, mechanisms and high ethical standards, as well as providing a forum for discussion on industry issues,î Mr Iustini said.

ìI am a strong believer that being involved in industry associations should not be for personal gain, but for the benefit of the industry and its development.

ìIt is gratifying when your peers judge you as standing out from the crowd and I would like to thank the RCSA Committee for nominating me for this award,î he said.
