Mitel signs 80,000 ResourceLink SE payroll contract with Northgate HR

Mitel Networks Corporation one of the UKís leading IP Communications suppliers has today announced they will be using Northgate HRís ResourceLink SE solution for their payroll.

The hosted service will see Northgate HR take responsibility for paying staff by submitting BACs for processing, and printing and distributing all payslips before running bi-weekly management reports. Mitel will benefit from lower costs as there will be no requirement to maintain expensive hardware onsite.

Mitel envisage further cost savings as self service functionality will enable Mitelís 400 employees to submit their timesheets and view their payslips online via an intranet.

Following a competitive bid process, the Canadian owned organisation chose Northgate HR over 3 other short listed competitors owing to Northgate HRís payroll expertise and the SAS70 accreditation of ResourceLink SE, which demonstrates that adequate internal controls and safeguards are in place when hosting and processing data belonging to clients.
