The formation of The Conscientia Group (Conscientia), a new executive search alliance comprised of North American boutique search firms, was today announced by its member organizations.
Conscientia members are independent market leaders with an elite portfolio of corporate, public and not-for-profit organizations, spanning prestigious universities and health care institutions, high-level government agencies and leading venture capital and Fortune 500 companies.
ìAs colleagues who have worked together in the past and share a global strategic view, Iím confident this combination of professionals is the right complement of executive search talent for todayís marketplace,î said John Ferneborg of Ferneborg and Associates. ìUltimately, we believe our ability to leverage our knowledge and resources will bring added value to the support we provide clients in meeting their evolving human capital needs.î
Conscientia takes its inspiration from the Latin term for shared knowledge, being ìin the knowî, and the ideas surrounding consensus, which reflect the membersí like minded approach to the executive search process. Each firm is strongly committed to excellence and best industry practices, underscored by a spirit of collaboration and partnerships with clients, candidates and fellow colleagues.
With initial representation in the eastern and western US and Canada, Conscientia is well positioned to offer clients extensive North American and international coverage. Current membership includes founders CHM Partners International (New York Metro and Charlottesville, Virginia); Claude Vezina Conseil en Recherches de Cadres Inc. (Montreal, Canada); two San Francisco Bay Area firms ñ Day and Associates (Burlingame, California) and Ferneborg and Associates (San Mateo, California); and Pinton Forrest and Madden (Vancouver, Canada).
