The ethics of bset business practice will be put to the test at the RCSAís Think Sharp Conference on the Gold Coast on 3 ñ 6 September 2006.
In a business strategy session entitled ìYou be the Judgeî, a panel of business experts will be presented with several sticky situations which businesses may come across in their daily operations.
ìThese hypotheticals will cover general business operations, along with those specific to finding and hiring employees,î said Julie Mills, CEO of the RCSA.
After the panel of business experts have offered their views of an ethical approach to the situation, it will be open to discussion. Finally, delegates can then vote on the solutions offered to them.
By exploring potential hazards in the way businesses can be run, we expect that Members will review how they run their businesses and avoid unethical pitfalls in what they do,î said Ms Mills.
The panel will be chaired by Andrew Wood and will feature a range of speakers drawn from legal, insurance, business and employee group representatives.
