New report into attracting and retaining top talent in finance

Robert Half International has today published a report into attracting and retaining top talent in finance. ìThe War for Talentî report highlights the main challenges that UK businesses face today, the demands of tomorrowís business leaders and examines how to unite the two.

The report concludes that the winning strategy to attracting and retaining top talent is to focus on the individual, with companies needing to employ a diverse recruitment approach to take into account the fact that different people have different needs.

The reports presents the discussions of 12 leading Chief Financial Officers and Directors from a cross section of the UKís top companies, government departments and professional accounting firms at a recent roundtable discussion in association with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Organisations represented include JPMorgan Chase, Clifford Chance, Reuters and the Department for Constitutional Affairs.
