Jobsite announces today that 2nd City Resourcing, a Midlands based marketing and communications recruitment specialist, has been rated best recruiter in the second quarterly RecruitRank Report.

The RecruitRank Report collates candidate feedback on agencies from the previous quarter and tiers them accordingly. It is the only tool operating exclusively on jobseeker feedback. Not only does this provide jobseekers with a confidential method of giving their agencies feedback; but recruitment agencies receive unbiased appraisals of their candidate relations, enabling them to improve performance.

Candidates rated agencies on their overall impression, their communication and level of updating on progress, their understanding of the candidateís needs and their relevant industry knowledge. The highest ranking recruitment agencies in each category were as follows:

Best Agency
2nd City Resourcing was closely followed by Cranleigh Recruitment Solutions, a specialist in finding scientific staff. Surrey based CG Consultants, an agency dedicated to technical recruitment, claimed bronze in the best agency category.

Best at Communicating
When it comes to keeping candidates updated on the progress of their application, 2nd City Resourcing also came out on top. Keeping jobseekers in the loop is very important to them. e-CRM People Ltd came in just behind 2nd City Resourcing, with Cranleigh Recruitment Solutions coming in a close third.

Best at Understanding Jobseekersí Needs
CG Consultants is the agency most highly rated for its understanding of what jobseekers need. The agency consistently demonstrated the best understanding of their candidatesí motivations. Runners up in this category included Cranleigh Recruitment Solutions and Scientific Staffing Solutions Limited. 2nd City Resourcing also appeared in this category, this time as number four.

Best Industry Knowledge
While being a runner up in the category for best understanding of jobseeker needs, Scottish agency Scientific Staffing Solutions was rated the number 1 agency for industry knowledge. Specialising in finding expert process engineering staff for scientific employers, the agency beat off stiff competition from CG Consultants who came second and Cranleigh Recruitment Solutions, which came in third place.
