Vurv Technology (formerly Recruitmax), a global provider of technology and services for building great workforces, today announced it has joined the Google Enterprise Professional program to bring Google enterprise search to Vurv customers. This alliance leverages the power of the familiar Google search to help customers maximize user adoption and get more value out of their Vurv talent management suite.

The power of Googleís enterprise search will allow users to access Vurv application data such as employee, candidate and job position records, alongside data from other enterprise applications, as well as more traditional information sources, including emails, spreadsheets, PDFís, presentations and other documents. In addition to enabling the rapid location of talent management data that would otherwise be inaccessible or unknown, the integrated solution will allow users to benefit from the capabilities of the Vurv enterprise product suite from a common interface, with reduced training.

While talent management software has been gaining greater enterprise acceptance, capturing and consolidating data from disparate systems for day-to-day business process support, reporting and the development of reliable metrics has been one of the greatest challenges facing organisations deploying talent management systems.
