Alliance for Work-Life Progress (AWLP) and WorldatWork are seeking workshop presentation proposals for the annual Work-Life Conference that will take place at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Feb. 21-23, 2007.
Respected for the past decade as the premier gathering of work-life professionals, this conference will highlight current work-life strategies and programs that connect employee satisfaction and engagement, to business performance and results. Approximately 400 work-life, diversity and human resources professionals from a variety of organizations throughout the United States and around the globe are expected to attend. The suggested topical categories for presentation submissions are:
- Workplace Flexibility
- Paid and Unpaid Time Off
- Health and Wellness
- Caring for Dependents
- Financial Support
- Community Involvement
- Culture Change Initiatives.
Although these topics are suggested, AWLP and WorldatWork are seeking a range of content submissions.
The Call for Presentations submission period is from June 12 to July 24, 2006. Interested parties should go to www.awlp.org/callforpresentations to access the online application.
AWLP and WorldatWork reviewers, who have expertise in the subject areas being evaluated, will appraise each proposal based on the topic’s relevance to the conference audience. Reviewers will consider a variety of presentation formats, including case studies, how-to approaches, senior-level strategic viewpoints and information for the emerging practitioner. Presentations must be educational and not a platform for selling products or services. Respondents will be notified electronically regarding the status of their workshop presentation proposal after Sept. 5, 2006. Contact callforpresentations@awlp.org for more information.
