Penta Consulting has been named as the south of Englandís most successful company in the 2006 Business Achievement Awards

ICT recruitment specialists Penta Consulting has been named as the south of Englandís most successful company in the 2006 Business Achievement Awards.

Presented by PricewaterhouseCoopers and law firm Clarke Willmott, this accolade is for the business which, according to Accounts filed at Companies House, achieved the biggest increase in both sales and profits over the year.

What this company has demonstrated is that success comes from having a strategy and an ethos and then following both, explained Mike Wilson of Clarke Willmott.

This has been a remarkable 12 months for Penta Consulting when they have enjoyed very high profile recognition for their outstanding business performance, including a CBI Award for International Achievement. Earlier this year Penta became the first technical staffing company ever to win The Queenís Award for Enterprise and they have also been named as one of the Best Companies to Work for in The Sunday Times 2006 Best Small Companies List.

Paul Clark, Managing Director of Penta said, ìWe are delighted with this award which reflects an enormous amount of hard work by everyone at Penta. Our business strategy, which includes some ambitious organic growth objectives, is working very well and we are one of the top profit makers in the industry. During the next 12 months we will be investing in and expanding both our international and UK operations.î
