Morgan Hunt PA wins 10,000 at the Epsom Derby

Morgan Hunt employees spent the day at the Epsom races for their summer corporate event on Saturday and although there was a few lucky winners amongst them, PA to the Directors, Kerry Cook hit the jackpot, winning 10,000 from a 5 bet. Members of her team each selected a horse for Kerry on a ëplace potí bet, where the horses in each race of the day has to finish in either 1st, 2nd or 3rd position to win the prize.

Kerry comments, ìMy boss Jeremy was drawn to a horse called Gavroche, an outsider in the last race, purely because our team night out was at a restaurant called Le Gavroche the previous week which I was unable to attend, so he picked it for me because of the name. I donít know what the odds are for all these horses to come in but, based on the payout the chances must have been pretty slim. I got married last year and am still paying off some of the costs so this has come at the perfect time.î
