JobsInSearch.com Expands Number Of Job Podcasts

JobsInSearch.com recently expanded their Job Podcast interview series with an Audio Interview with Andy Beal, President & CEO of Fortune Interactive, a Search Marketing firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

ìBefore introducing our audio interview series, job seekers had been able to view job listings whilst searching for a job. Now, job seekers can listen to interviews with either a Recruiting Manager or a Recruiter. This enables them to find out more about a recruiting company, their current vacancies and, for example, what it is like to work in their departmentî explained the founder of Jobs In Search, Mike Taylor.

ìWe first introduced the audio interviews back in October 2005 and at that time we believe we were the first job site to provide audio interviews with recruiting companies,î continued Taylor. ìWith the rapid growth in broadband penetration in both the UK and the USA we fully expect the growth in online audio to continue and grow in popularity.î

ìThe interview with Andy Beal was interesting because not only did he talk about the company he co-founded in September 2005 but he also talked about the culture of the company and how they all work together as a team. He also went into detail about the kind of attributes he looks for when recruiting new employees and even gave out some hints and tips on how to impress him if you were to apply to work at Fortune Interactive.î

In terms of feedback on the idea of audio interviews Beal commented ìI think the audio interview concept is a great way for a company to share information with potential job candidates. Not only does it help us spread the word about our open positions, but it also gives a fantastic opportunity to let potential candidates know exactly the type of person we are looking for.
