Boyden World Corporation, a global company in executive search, today announced that Gray Hollett has been appointed Vice President of Marketing to lead its branding across the firmís more than 65 offices in over 40 countries. Mr. Hollett previously co-led his own firm Brandadvance, a strategic brand, design and integrated marketing company.
Brandadvance provided marketing communications services to investment bankers and venture capitalists for start-ups and recapitalized organizations and traditional clients including Creo Americas, United Nations Federal Credit Union, Symyx Software, Pepsi and Black & Decker. Most recently he had served as a consultant to Boyden.

Prior to Brandadvance, Mr. Hollett served as Managing Director, Senior Vice President of The Atlantic Group, where he developed strategic brand and marketing programs for Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Perkin Elmer, Breitling and American Century Investments. Before his tenure at The Atlantic Group, Mr. Hollett was head of strategic brand development at Corporate Branding Partnership (now CoreBrand), where he was responsible for strategic marketing consulting for clients including American Century Investments, Lucent Technologies, Fortune Brands, Ciba Specialty Chemicals and Canadian National Railways. As Vice President of Naming and Branding with Siegel & Gale, he was a key member of the teams that created such brands as Anthem Health, Nortel, BellCanada, NationsBank and National Semiconductor.
Mr. Hollett began his career on the curatorial staff at the National Museum of the American Indian, before becoming a conceptual design planner at the museum consultancy Ralph Appelbaum & Associates. There he was a member of teams that created exhibition plans for The American Museum of Natural History, The Smithsonianís National Museum of Natural History and The National Museum of New Zealand.
Over the course of his exhibit work, he became interested in corporate culture and design and the effects of branding on perception and business performance. He holds a bachelorís degree in anthropology from Hartwick College.
