IT- People.com to explore partnerships in Saudi Arabia at Gitex 06

IT-people.com, the IT recruitment portal will be participating in Gitex Saudi Arabia as a part of the DIC Community Zone. They will be exploring new partnerships with a view to expanding their operations in Saudi Arabia.

The IT industry in Saudi Arabia is growing as shown by the 2005 Net Impact study, carried out by Momentum Research Group. According to the study, the use of technology had helped Saudi Arabian public sector departments boost customer satisfaction by 44 percent in the last year.
At the same time, the countryís public sector outpaces European countries in the adoption of technologies such as content caching IP telephony, remote disaster recovery sites and voice over IP( VOIP).

Saudi Arabian departments were also leading the way in the adoption of technology íbest practicesí, with 95 percent using finance and accounting applications and 79 percent having a Web interface for workforce collaboration and training. ìWe have received a lot of interested from international IT firms looking to hire the best talent in the region,î said MN Chaturvedi, President of the company ìcurrently most of the hiring is done by head hunters.
