Employees of Leicester firm, national training standards organisation ENTO, will be stars of the nationís screens, as the team witness the head to head battle of two of their colleagues competing for the title of ëOffice Monkeyí.
The ITV2 programme secretly pits two members of staff against each other by making them perform a series of bizarre stunts in the workplace to the surprise and bewilderment of their work colleagues. The winner is the person who most convincingly performs the office-based stunts ñ i.e. without workmates cottoning on ñ and takes away an exotic holiday.
At ENTO only competitors - Customer Support Manager, Martyn Wilkinson and Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator Tammy Reidford, and one or two company directors, actually knew that secret TV cameras were filming the dayís events.
Viewers of the show will witness the ENTO employeesí bewildered but suspicious reactions to the ëOffice Monkeysí as they perform desk top fish filleting, impromptu breakdancing displays and speed walking in day-glow Lycra body suits and aerodynamic helmets!
ìWe all had a great laugh making the show ñ especially those of us who knew what was going on ñ the looks on some peopleís faces were priceless as Martyn and Tammy went through their paces on the day,î explains ENTOís Director of Marketing and Communications, David Morgan.
ìI wonít give away the winner ñ youíll have to watch the programme to find out that one, but I would like to congratulate my team on their great sense of humour throughout the day and the good nature in which they took the surprise.î
ENTOís Office Monkey show will be screened on ITV2 on 7 November 2005 at 10:00 pm.
