The Berkeley Scott Group, the UKs recruitment and resourcing company specialising in the hospitality, leisure and retail sectors, recently floated on AIM and has subsequently embarked on an ambitious plan of UK-wide expansion. Consultanting headcount has been increased by over 25 across the country and additional expansion is planned into Eastern Europe. The rapid growth of the company has necessitated the creation of two new senior level positions, that of Director of Permanent Recruitment and Director of Temporary Recruitment.
Simon Page and Mark Darby head respective divisions
Berkeley Scott is delighted to welcome two highly experienced recruiters to head up these important, strategic roles. Simon Page is appointed Director of Permanent Recruitment and joins the company from Allied Healthcare Group, where he held the role of Regional Director. After 12 yearsí service as an officer with the Royal Navy, Simon started his recruitment career in executive search and selection with Hanover Fox International, before forming his own successful generalist headhunting business. Simon offers proven leadership and management skills and a comprehensive understanding of the recruitment industry.
Mark Darby joins as Director of Temporary Recruitment from his previous role as Sales Director of a privately owned Sales and Marketing consultancy company. Prior to this he held the position of Sales and Operations Director of Parity Plc, an industry leading, international IT recruitment business. Originally hailing from Perth, Australia, Mark has a comprehensive understanding of all recruiting methodologies and has worked extensively across the UK and overseas.

Berkeley Scott also announces the promotion of Kathryn Davies from Commercial Director to Director, Berkeley Scott Solutions, the resourcing and outsourcing solutions division of the Group. In a further internal promotion, Simon Tucker Brown has been formally confirmed as Director of ISIS, the Groupís executive search division.
