The Recruitment and Employment Confederationís Nursing and Social Care group is hosting its 2nd annual conference at the Royal College of Physicians, Regents Park on 17th November, 2005. The conference is designed for specialist recruitment companies which find work for nurses, social workers and domiciliary care workers and welcomes both REC and non-REC members.
The main agenda is to fully examine the future of recruiting within the healthcare sector, tackling divisive topics such as workforce planning within the NHS and íSkills for Careí - the future of training for social care. Delegates will hear from a variety of key industry speakers including Will Laing, lead category manager at Agency Nurses NHS PASA and Debbie Mellor, head of workforce capacity at the Department of Health.
Peter Cullimore, chair of the RECís Nursing and Social Care sector group and managing director of Universal Care comments, This yearís contentious programme will highlight many key issues and challenges faced within the nursing and social care industry, providing an ideal opportunity to question some of the chief influencers of the debate and voice thoughts on the issues concerned.
