Charterhouse Group International has appointed David Watts MA, FCIS, FCIPD as Group Legal Manager.
David brings to the Group extensive experience in the field gained from a lengthy and impressive career as an Officer in the Royal Navy. David served in a number of roles including; specialist personnel, legal and administrative appointments in a variety of nuclear submarines, surface warships, UK/NATO Headquarters staff and Executive Agencies.
These roles led to studying for and achieving his ICSA and CIPD qualifications and through subsequent experience David gained a fellowship from the ICSA and CIPD. In 2003 David voluntarily retired from the Royal Navy to complete Masters Degree in Management at the University of Exeter, following this he moved to the Isle of Man.
Reporting to the Group Director of Finance Davidís role involves advising the Directors of our Group companies, the management team and staff on technical issues relating to legal and employment law issues in the UK, Ireland and Jersey. David will liaise with the regulatory and Government authorities governing the Groupís products and its clients, and communicate with the Directors of some of the largest UK recruitment companies on these issues.
David will also provide staff with training, where appropriate, and liaise with the Marketing team to ensure the accuracy of documentation.

David is based at the companyís headquarters in Ramsey.
