MindSolve Technologies will release version 5.1 of MindSolve Visual Performance (MVP), its flagship Employee Performance Management (EPM) software suite, at HR Executiveís HR Technology Conference & Exposition in Chicago.
Most of version 5.1ís new features were driven by customer demand and changing business environments. ìOur single-point-of-contact, high-touch service model gives us the unique ability to quickly respond to customer needs,î says Jeff Lyons, Chief Client Officer. ìBy being attentive and responsive, with each release weíre able to introduce some unique new features that set MVP apart from other, less configurable EPM solutions.î
MVP 5.1 rounds out MindSolveís Legal Toolkit with the introduction of the Legal Minder(TM) language scanner. Legal Minder identifies legally inappropriate or risky comments and offers alternative wording. While other EPM software offers language scanning capability, ìwe have developed the most comprehensive and adaptable legal scanner in the industry,î Lyons says. ìPartnering with an employment law firm, we developed logic that not only identifies risky language by words and phrases, but applies contextual logic, so there arenít a bunch of false alarms.î
ìLegal Minder can be customized by a client to specify language to flag ñ or not ñ under certain conditions. This is helpful especially in cases where a companyís product or project may contain a word or acronym that might be considered risky terminology in other contexts,î Lyons says.
Other 5.1 enhancements include manager and department head capability to edit employee information directly from a dashboard, an organizational tree browser incorporated into manager and employee dashboards, and advanced searching capability within the system.
Technical improvements included in 5.1 optimize performance across all servers, with impressive gains in response time over an already powerful system. ìLarge clients with tens of thousands of users will see big benefits from these improvements, and even smaller clients with hundreds of users will see speeds two to ten times faster than previous versions,î says Dan Boccabella, MindSolveís General Manager and Chief Technology Officer.
ìAs companies turn employee performance management from an annual appraisal event to a process, their demands from the system increase dramatically. For that reason, we do all our testing on a heavy load model, simulating full functionality with thousands of simultaneous users, typically more extreme demands than even our big, multinational clients,î Boccabella adds. ìOur customers can always count on high performance from our system ñ so they can focus on high performance from their employees.î
MindSolve will showcase MVP 5.1 at the HR Technology Conference and Exposition in Chicago on October 19 ñ 21.
