European PhD Research Network Launched

How to position your company in societal and business fields in transition? How to handle new responsibilities? How to organize transparency, human capital or social engagement? In order to deal with these and many other questions, innovative answers are required instead of quick fixes. Generating fundamental and applied knowledge from within the company seems to be the way to go.

An exciting opportunity is offered by a newly launched European PhD network helping business people carry out research while continuing to work for their company. This initiative offers to create a bridge between practice and science. These insights are developed in a dedicated learning community.

The network will have 15 places available initially, and will offer regular supervision to participants, as well as a full course week at different locations across Europe four times a year.

The programme, which will last for four years and will be supervised by specialist academics from various institutions across Europe, should result in a PhD. Participation is based on an annual fee.

The initiative has been established by the Nijmegen School of Management (Netherlands) in collaboration with the University Twente (Netherlands), Humbold University (Germany) and University Toulouse 1 (France).
