reed.co.uk, has this week launched a new version of its highly successful site.

In addition to improved design and navigation, the new site includes new features to enhance the job-seeking experience. These include an all-new local jobs section, the ability to job search by title and easy to use tabs to help organise search results.

Additional facilities for recruiters include a new ëEmployer Servicesí section and the option to send vacancies online to Reed recruitment consultants and save 20% on permanent placements.

reed.co.uk, which hosts details of over 220,000 jobs from more than 12,000 recruiters, has enjoyed significant success in the 10 years since its launch. Much of this success is due to its unique free online recruitment service, Freecruitment, which allows recruiters to post jobs and receive and manage applications online, all for free.

ìConsistently improving the service we offer to job-seekers is key to the success of our Freecruitment service,î explains Martin Warnes, Head of Operations at reed.co.uk.

ìThe new features and functionality included in the latest version of reed.co.uk will ensure that recruiters using Freecruitment continue to receive substantial volumes of good quality applications.

ìAnd the good news for them is that itís still absolutely free.î

In July, job seekers using reed.co.uk performed over 4.6 million job searches, generating 876,371 job applications ñ thatís one every 2.96 seconds.
