Recruiting its way to success

New kids on the block, Recruitment.UK have firmly established themselves as a strong recruitment agency in the North East, placing 502 candidates into jobs.

Recruitment.UK was set-up in 2004 by successful recruiters Michael Archer and Sue Betts. Celebrating its first year, the agency has grown from strength to strength with candidates being placed into both temporary and permanent work within the customer service and financial sectors.

Michael and Sue previously worked for a well known recruitment agency in Newcastle. Disillusioned with their positions, they both decided to put their expertise and wealth of experience to good use, and embark on this new venture.

The Mosley Street based agency, which has clients such as Northern Rock, Sitel UK and the Sage Gateshead on its books, offers candidates fantastic opportunities and takes pride with placing candidates in jobs which they are most suited to and also where they can excel.

Commenting on their success, Recruitment.UK Director, Michael Archer said, ìWe believe the success of our business is due to the way we treat our candidates. They are the most important aspect of any business and too many agencies treat their candidates like a number and not an individual.î

Recruitment.UK considers their own staff to be another important reason for their success during the first year. Sue Betts Director added, ìI think our staff are the reason for our continued growth. Going forward, Recruitment.UK hopes to continue with its success and will be looking to move to larger premises to cater for an expanding team due to its increased work load and the growth in numbers of new candidates each day.
