Unitime Systems, developer of time-and-attendance software for businesses and other organizations throughout the United States, has moved to a new headquarters office here after outgrowing the space it had occupied since 1998. Unitimeís new, 19,000-square-foot headquarters is nearly triple the size of its previous, 7,200-square-foot office, also in Boulder.
The new space can accommodate more than 100 employees and will enable the company to more than double the size of its Boulder staff. Unitime also has satellite offices in Alpharetta GA, Chicago and Minneapolis.
The company has doubled in employee size during the past two-and-a-half years and continues to aggressively add new employees. Currently, 45 employees work at the Boulder office (54 companywide); the company expects to add at least 35 more to the Boulder office within two years. The new office space offers a 450-square-foot, temperature-controlled research and development lab-ómore than twice the size of the R&D lab at the companyís previous location.
Unitime signed a five-year lease, with a five-year option, on the new office at 4900 Pearl East Circle, Suite 110. The Pearl Street location is Unitimeís third office since Doug Peterman, president and co-founder, and CEO Bill Korstad founded the company in 1993.
ìWe founded the company with a desire to work with great people, provide excellent products, and help customers improve their businesses,î said Peterman. ìOur growth has been a ínatural byproductí of this environment.î
Customers
Unitime has grown from 500 customers throughout the United States and Canada in 1996 to 1,500 in 2003 and more than 1,900 today. The company expects to add its 2,000th customer later this year and plans to expand eventually into the South and Central American markets.
Unitime customers are organizations of all sizes in nearly every industry in more than 7,500 locations.
