Clothing and homewares giant Matalan Plc says switching to Adapt Applicant Tracking Software has enabled them to turn its new-store recruitment process from a headache into a breeze.
Matalan chose Bond International Software Plcís powerful web-based system to streamline its recruitment process, which involves taking on large numbers of staff when a new store opens its doors. This includes hotline interviewing - screening large numbers of applicants over the phone - followed by group interviews with Matalan staff.
Matalan retail resourcing manager Kate Good said: ìAs an evolving and innovative organisation our needs are constantly changing and we needed software that could reflect and support this easily and cost effectively. Bond always responds rapidly to all of our requirements and their excellent ongoing support has made them an essential partner in our quest for increasing market share and growth.î
Bond MD Tim Richards said: ìAdaptís unique ability to be tailored to meet Matalanís needs and to develop in line with their business, means it is a successful partnership that we are confident will continue to flourish.î
Bond, with its headquarters in Worthing, England, has an impressive and highly diverse client list spanning 40 countries. Its Adapt software is acknowledged as an industry-leader and is used by many of the biggest names in the recruitment industry as well as by large corporates to control their human resource processes. It employs more than 200 staff in the UK, USA, Australia and South Africa.
Matalan is one of the UKís leading clothing and homewares retailers offering quality goods at up to half the equivalent high street price. It ës concept of out of town stores started with the opening of the first shop in 1985 and in 1998 it was floated and now trades from five million square feet in over 190 stores.
