New exhibition aims to enhance Britains happiness ranking

Britain is the 24th happiest nation out of a survey of over 60 countries according to statistics published in the New Scientist Magazine

Britain is the 24th happiest nation out of a survey of over 60 countries according to statistics published in the New Scientist Magazine and a new exhibition has been created to enhance this ranking.

The figures were taken from the World Values Survey which was first published in October 2003 and the results, along with the increased awareness of personal development, have instigated the organisation of a brand new exhibition. The show will be aimed at individuals looking to make a positive change in their personal, domestic and professional lives.

According to the survey results, satisfaction in the western world comes from a number of factors; personal success, self-expression, pride, a high sense of self-esteem and a distinct sense of self. It is precisely these issues that motivated Bluewater Events to create a show which covers all aspects of targeted improvement in an individualís life.

The subject of personal development has received growing recognition in recent years and it is clear that in the modern environment, developing oneself through education, healthy living, career advancement and self-esteem has taken on a serious meaning. The Cabinet Office has held a string of seminars on life satisfaction, and the Governmentís Strategy Unit has published a white paper recommending policies that might increase the nationís happiness.

The Personal Development Expo will be held at Excel, London, which is one of the countryís prime exhibition venues. Taking place on 28 ñ 29 January 2006, the exhibition is supported by LBC radio, the London based news and entertainment station. Current negotiations with other high profile sponsors and exhibitors promise to attract ABC1 visitors who are serious about enhancing their lives.

Any company associated with personal development is welcome to exhibit including those involved with Career Development, Sales & Time Management, Business Development, Education & Training, Foreign Languages, Personal & Business Coaching, Motivation & Confidence, Family, Relationships & Travel, Personal Finances, Complementary Therapies, Health, Fitness & wellbeing and Spiritual Development.
