Record Jobs Market - Strong But Brittle

The Olivier Internet Job Index has surged again to a new record high, after faltering last month.



The IJI counted 155,738 Australian job advertisements on the net in May, a 3.5% gain in the month. The previous record of 154,291 in March beat the pre-Olympic high in August 2000. The bounce-back confirms Olivierís analysis last month about the effects of the Easter break and school holidays on Aprilís figures.
