Topping the Local Government table for the second month running is thurrock.gov, which was also the only site to pass (A) and (AA) automated accessibility tests and reported a MorseMark of 9.252, up from 8.945 in April. The site also features a Crystal Mark - the Plain English Campaignís seal of approval for websites. Moving into second place from 5th last month is redbridge.gov with an improved MorseMark score of 9.045.

Great improvements from Essex CC, up to number five overall.

The top ten sites recorded a combined MorseMark of 86.427 down slightly from last monthís 86.879, although the top two sites did break the 9.0 MorseMark barrier, which indicates over 90 percent compliance with SiteMorse automated testing.
