SAINT LOUIS ñIMPACT Group, a St. Louis-based global relocation and career management firm - announced today that the company has opened operations in the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia Pacific. Offices are located in London, Switzerland and Singapore, with additional locations opening later this year.
IMPACT Group chose these locations based on the desire to enhance global services to existing clients in these three hub locations. By opening these offices, the company can now provide face-to-face services in addition to virtual and telephonic career coaching.
ìSpouse/partner transition services are designed to help with the long-term acclimation to a new area, retain employees and help the entire family settle in and adjust to the new country. These services are critical to the productivity of the assignee and overall success of the assignment,î said Laura Herring, Founder, President and CEO of IMPACT Group. ìEmployees and relocating families experience a significant cultural gap between home and host cultures; therefore, companies offer our services to spouses/partners so they feel that they have an ongoing support system abroad.î
ìAs companies expand their organization on a global scale, the need to support the spouse and family has increased the demand for our services,î said Lauren Herring, Director International Development at IMPACT Group. ìNow that many spouses moving to the U.S. and throughout Europe are able to work due to recent changes in visa restrictions, spouse/partner career assistance is crucial. Our local services will assist spouses to successfully compete for jobs in the host location.î
