New appointment spearheads international growth for Scottish company

ibp academy has appointed John McCormack to the new role of Business Development Manager

ibp academy (formerly ibp Scotland), which specialises in the provision of business and management education, has appointed John McCormack to the new role of Business Development Manager, as the company embarks on growing its UK and overseas activities.

Formerly a Sales Manager with global information technology company, IBM, John (39) has spent the past 15 years working in international sales, particularly in the banking and finance sectors, covering the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe.

In his new role with ibp academy John will focus on developing partnerships, new markets and products, building upon ibpís success to date.

ibp academy has a strong UK position in business and management education and we believe there is great growth potential for extending our offering internationally. Johnís knowledge of international sales will therefore be invaluable in the next stage of our expansion and we are excited at the prospect this will bring, said John Parker, Managing Director, ibp academy.
