Ceridian Centrefile has appointed Marie Bannister as HR Consultant in its Small Business Services. She will be working with business leaders and managers to help them tackle HR issues within their businesses both effectively and ethically.
Marieís appointment reflects the increasing awareness among small and medium sized businesses of the importance of implementing and maintaining effective employment relations, and of the need for strategic HR to be written into their business plans.
Ceridianís Small Business Services provides small and medium sized firms with managed payroll and HR administration services, consultancy, employer support and employee assistance programmes, freeing them to concentrate on their core business.
Prior to Ceridian, Marie spent two years as an HR executive at an electronics distributor providing internal consulting for over 200 staff in the UK. Marie also has experience at Education Personnel Management, providing consultancy to those within the education sector.
Marie says: ìA disproportionate amount of tribunal claims are made against small businesses, so it is imperative that managers of smaller firms take good professional advice on all areas of employee management and legislation.
