New appointments at expanding Interim Management Association

The Interim Management Association (IMA) has made a number of new appointments to its executive committee

The Interim Management Association (IMA) has made a number of new appointments to its executive committee.

Ian Daniell has been appointed as the IMA Industry Champion, a post that is jointly funded with the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC). Daniell has wide experience of the interim management sector both as a practicing interim executive, in running his own interim provider business and as a past chairman of the Association. His role, which is to raise the profile of the industry, will be wide-ranging and encompass speaking at business events and representing the IMA with Government and other professional bodies.

Nigel Corby, head of interim provider Global Executives Ltd, has been appointed as membership Chair for the IMA and he will be responsible for encouraging new members to join who can meet the high standards of the IMA.

Paul Vousden, a senior interim executive, has been appointed as a PR and communications advisor to the IMA Executive Board. With over 25 years experience in PR and communications, including five years operating in senior interim roles, Paul is well placed to help the IMA raise its profile with key audiences.

Commenting on the new appointments Nick Robeson, Chair of the IMA and Chief Executive of Boyden Interim Management, said.

The IMA has had a very successful year in terms of new membership, and these new appointments will help us to consolidate and build on this progress in the future. There is a growth trend in the use of senior interim executives in both the private and public sector, and the IMA has an important role to play in ensuring that potential clients know how to source the best quality candidates for their assignments.
