Onrec is pleased to announce that the annual onrec Awards will be taking place on 31st March 2010, at The Grange St Pauls Hotel, a new prestigious 5 star venue in the heart of London’s financial district. The onrec awards promise to be a memorable night to celebrate the growth, talent, innovation and hard work in 2009. The awards will recognise the companies and individuals that have managed to triumph and succeed in the difficult trading conditions in a variety of different categories. For many 2009 will be marred with the impact of the recession, but the industry greets 2010 with high hopes.
The onrec awards comprise of 12 categories, 2 of which are new additions to 2010, the niche job board and candidate service. The awards will be judged by a panel of industry heads, which include:

- Larry Cucchi, Managing Director, Peopleclick
- Joe Rodgers, Managing Director, WJP Floyd
- Andrew Warbuton, Founder and MD, Marshal Warbuton
- Iain Lewis, HR Business Partner - Specialist Businesses
- Bruce Morton, e3 Unlimited

In the afternoon of the Awards ceremony onrec is also holding a half day conference at the same venue. A key area for discussion is the interpretation of the Employment Agencies Act. The event will provide an insight into the opportunities that now exist for online recruiters and recruitment agencies in light of recent changes in government interpretation of the law. Other topics also include a job fraud update. There will also be a panel discussion at the end too to highlight the industry’s challenges, developments and growth prospects.
