True to form, the Zeel Solutions team recently triumphed at APSCo’s Charity Golf Day 2010 beating 16 other teams to scoop first place at the annual event, held at Woking Golf Club on 19th October.
The event, held in partnership with Recruitment International and sponsored by The IT JOBboard, is an opportunity for the recruitment industry and its suppliers to network and socialise whilst raising money for charity. Funds raised this year will be donated to two very worthy causes - Childline and Link Leisure, a charity which supports people with learning disabilities through sport and social activities in the community.
Zeel’s Managing Director, Rav Cheema, and Head of Sales, David Smith, secured victory with the help of fellow team members, John Buckman, Chairman of Jark PLC and Peter Blackmur, Managing Director of Galaxy Personnel.
Jark PLC and Galaxy Personnel have established relationships with Zeel Solutions both on and off the golf course. Fresh from victory, Rav Cheema stated: “It’s great to be able to team up with clients and produce winning results. Better still, we’ve been able to support some very worthy causes along the way. We’ve had a great year business wise and have ambitious plans for the coming year – including defending our title on the golf course.”
Peter Blackmur also scooped the trophy for the best individual player on the day, testimony to the golfing prowess which helped Zeel secure success in the main event. Rav Cheema continues, “We’d like to give a special thanks to our team mates, John and Peter, for helping us win - we couldn’t have done it without them!”
