On Saturday 9 November, in London, TARGETjobs Events will hold a new event targeted at students from leading UK universities who want to work in Asia and the Middle East. The TARGETjobs Asia and Middle East Graduate Careers Event will be inviting top international students looking to return home to work, as well as a select group of UK and EU nationals who want to work in Asia and the Middle East.
International students represent around 15% of UK undergraduates and a massive 69% of all full-time taught postgraduates. But although international students are very welcome to use their campus careers service, their advice and information focuses naturally on opportunities in the UK. This is why the TARGETjobs Asia and Middle East Graduate Careers Event, bringing together international students and international recruiters, will be heavily supported by leading universities and their careers services.
Because it’s likely to be very popular with students, entry to the event is selective and this will ensure that recruiters meet only well-prepared and motivated students. There they will meet employers who have vacancies in Asia and the Middle East and they can also take advantage of a range of free advisory sessions and workshops.
