In a strategic move to improve standards of compliance practice across the recruitment industry, specialist Cloud services provider NowWeComply.com has been awarded trade body APSCo  Affiliate membership.

The move is designed to offer professional recruitment firms new levels of support, expertise and education in tackling a growing tide of regulation, legislation and audit requirements.

“Recruiters are under threat of asphyxiation by regulation over the next two years,” said NowWeComply’s Chief Technology Officer, Ben Stoneham.

“Dealing with compliance effectively requires new management thinking about the strategies and tools used,” he added, “It is the key to their survival and success.”

Ann Swain, CEO, APSCo also commented, "It's a pleasure to welcome NowWeComply to the APSCo community. We received great references from their customers and look forward to their contribution at upcoming APSCo events."

The affiliation is seen as an alliance of shared ideals, according to Mr Stoneham – with NowWeComply.com actively working to fulfil APSCo’s mission to ensure the highest possible standards of trading practice within the professional recruitment industry.

“Our aim in compliance is to put higher standards of consistency and auditable transparency within easy reach of every professional recruiter,” he said.

He asserts that complex auditing demands and constant regulatory change slow down growth for the whole economy.

“This is because it places tremendous process management burden on recruiters that delays getting key people into posts across every sector from health and social care to construction and engineering,” he said.

NowWeComply.com is a low-cost online service that automates time-consuming and often complex compliance processes.

This makes it simpler and more affordable for firms to meet their requirements, according to Mr Stoneham.

By becoming an APSCo Partner both parties hope to enable firms to adopt operational strategies that simplify and reduce the cost of dealing with ‘red tape’ – and so meet the challenge of delivering the quality assurance in compliance that hiring companies, authorities and the economy demand.
