HR GO Plc continues to build on its national network of branches

Kicking off the start of its 55th year of celebrations, national recruiter, HR GO plc, is pleased to announce the first of many new branch openings for the year

Kicking off the start of its 55th year of celebrations, national recruiter, HR GO plc, is pleased to announce the first of many new branch openings for the year.

From its humble beginnings with its inception in the front room of a Dartford home, the company has grown into one of the top 55 recruitment organisations in the UK as it stands today with a turnover approaching the £100m mark. It started its life as Parkinson Staff Bureau, later known as
PSB Recruitment, with its first official branch opening in Dartford, Kent in 1958.

The new branch opening in Sittingbourne builds the Kent HR GO Recruitment network, the largest brand within the HR GO plc group, to seven branches. Jo-Anne Smith is the Kent Regional Director and oversees the seven Kent branches located in Ashford, Canterbury, Chatham, Dartford, Folkestone, Ramsgate and Sittingbourne.

The Kent network benefits from the strength and backing of  30  plus  sister HR GO Recruitment branches located throughout  the  UK.  HR  GO  Recruitment specialises in temporary, permanent and contract  positions  within  a  wide range  of  disciplines,  mainly  industrial,   commercial,   driving,   food production and warehousing.

Paul Broderick, HR GO plc Managing  Director,  comments:  “Betty  Parkinson, the mother of our  Non  Executive  Chairman,  Jack  Parkinson,  founded  the company in 1957/1958 after  experiencing  her  first  taste  of  recruitment whilst working at the Dartford Paper Mills.

“Heritage plays a really important role in the longevity and  success  of  a business”, continues Paul. “Essentially it preserves our identity  and  sets our purpose. Being a family run business for approx.  20  years  we  have  a strong focus on big company resources and small company values  which  still continues today.”

The HR GO Recruitment brand is looking  to  continue  to  develop  and  grow throughout this celebratory year.
