GTI Media is pleased to announce that Matt Dacey has joined GTI Media as Director of Products and Services primarily to focus the business even more on the needs of students and graduates as they make their key career decisions. Before joining GTI Matt acted as a consultant to DC Thomson helping to restructure their newspaper and magazine businesses. Prior to that he was Digital Director of the Reader’s Digest leading a private equity backed management buyout and Managing Director of Interactive at Emap where he developed multi-channel strategies for their consumer brands such as Heat, Grazia, FHM, Kiss, Q and Kerrang.

Matt previously spent six years at mobile phone operators, starting at T-Mobile and then four years at O2 where he was Head of Content Acquisition and Strategy. Matt had a previous career outside publishing and new media as a Shipbroker in the City. He graduated from the University of Liverpool in Law.

This is a new role at GTI Media and central to our mission to put students first in a business which has always prided itself on its close links with both universities and the recruiters who employ the talented individuals emerging from HE each year. Matt’s experience in new media, mobile and tablet publishing will enable GTI to create new and improved products and services and to continue to deliver the best advice, information and careers for students and the best response for recruiters.

Matt Dacey says: "I'm delighted to be joining GTI Media where meeting students' needs is rightly seen as central to the success of the business. I'm particularly excited by the reach of TARGETjobs which currently gives us access to more students at top universities than our competitors - and it's my job to help extend our penetration of the market and help as many students as possible."
