New job board moves mobile space forward

jobsmobile launches with definitive mobile apps for recruiters and candidates

jobsmobile has revolutionised job searching for both jobseekers and recruiters. Through integrating with the most up-to-date technology and creating two definitive mobile apps for both candidates and recruiters, jobsmobile is confident they can offer more features on their app than any other job board in the UK.

Working across all major mobile platforms including iPhone, iPad, Android & Windows 7 devices, jobsmobile’s free app offers candidates immediate access to the latest job content in the UK and abroad, across a variety of sectors.

Excitingly for recruiters, jobsmobile has developed an app designed specifically for them. Candidate applications can be viewed and tracked using a mobile device, something never seen before in the UK mobile application market. “Our app means recruiters can stay one step ahead of the competition. They can be the first to react to candidate applications, day or night, wherever they are,” explained Matt Goulette, Director of jobsmobile.

The candidate app offers more available functions than any other existing mobile job app. A candidate can upload their CV via Dropbox, carry out searches, apply for jobs, write cover letters, edit personal details, review FAQs, track applications, favourite jobs, and even save searches and set up email alerts.

Matt Goulette, Director of jobsmobile explains “To make our candidate’s job hunt easier we have implemented a satellite 'map view' feature, allowing jobseekers to view job locations through one click of a button. Candidates can also refine results using a radius field to match their desired search criteria.”

“We have also has incorporated innovative CV parsing technology which extracts information from a candidates CV to ensure recruiters match their job listings with the most relevant CVs within our database.”

“With links to social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, jobseekers can integrate jobsmobile into their wider online and mobile lifestyle.”

Launching in October 2012, jobsmobile has been designed to appeal to professionals based in the UK, looking for permanent, temporary or contract opportunities. jobsmobile offers vacancies in a wide range of sectors to ensure candidates secure a career best suited to them. It is a privately held company with headquarters in Bristol, UK.
