imail wins major NHS contract

UK Mail’s innovative hybrid mailing service; imail, has won the contract for printing and mail fulfilment services for the NHS in Hampshire. imail and the Hampshire PCT’s FHS support service (Hampshire & Isle of Wight PPSA) have agreed a two year contract with the extension of up to another two years also available

UK Mail’s innovative hybrid mailing service; imail, has won the contract for printing and mail fulfilment services for the NHS in Hampshire. imail and  the Hampshire PCT’s FHS support service  (Hampshire & Isle of Wight PPSA) have agreed a two year contract with the extension of up to another two years also available.

The four PCT’s  who work with over 500 local NHS partners and are responsible for investing in healthcare services for the local community, rely on  a cost effective and efficient mailing service. imail, hybrid mailing specialists underwent a challenging tender process provided from GPS – Government Procurement Services and were shortlisted to the top three. After presenting to key stakeholders and successfully completing the tender process imail were awarded the contract.

Andy Barber, General Manager from imail said, ‘We are delighted to announce the news of this contract win. After undergoing a rigorous tender process we have proven our in depth understanding of the requirements needed to provide services into the NHS.’

Craig Rodell, Facilities Manager for Hampshire & Isle of Wight PPSA, said, ‘The PCT’s committed to providing the community with the very highest standards of information. In order to do this, it’s important that our health and wellbeing services are supported by efficient and cost effective processes.  We are very pleased to be working with imail to deliver this’.

 Andy Barber, added, ‘Having already gained the NHS CFH accreditation, it reinforces the quality service imail provides and we’re beginning to see an increasing interest from the public sector. We’ve continuously worked to develop the service further, transforming the way thousands of businesses and now local authorities are sending mail.

The two year agreement will see imail using the latest technology to produce, print, proof and post letters, insert screening leaflets and any other forms of communications from Hampshire & Isle of Wight PPSA amounting to approximately 500 thousand pieces of correspondence each year.
