Increased postal costs and what this means for recruitment agencies

Recruiters are bracing themselves for a 30% cost increase with postal costs set to rise from 46p to 60p next month

Recruiters are bracing themselves for a 30% cost increase with postal costs set to rise from 46p to 60p next month. With most recruitment agencies still processing paper based timesheets and dispatching invoices through the post, the industry is facing an increased cost of 8.7M per annum based on the postage costs for the 1.2 million strong temporary workforce.

As the country begins to see the changes that this announcement will bring to the way recruitment agencies react to the soaring prices of stamps, on top of the recent costs to implement the changes to AWR, I would like to offer you the opportunity to speak to or receive comment from Nick Woodward, Managing Director at Etz Timesheet Solutions, a leader in timesheet automation technology for the recruitment industry, on how these costs can be cut drastically, and agencies can stay competitive, through the use of  innovative Software as a Service (SaaS) based solutions.

Nick Woodward comments, "In the current economic climate, it is essential for recruitment agencies to consider the ways in which they can cut their costs. Using SaaS provides a effective and highly efficient solution to the issue of increased postage costs as well as being environmentally friendly. With recruitment agencies in particular having vast volumes of documentation to send to both clients and employees, the savings of using SaaS are unparalleled."
