Top businesses compete to win Best Employer in Hospitality Award for 2012

Throughout England and Wales, restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars, caterers, venues, and tour operators are now competing for the coveted title of ‘Best Employer in Hospitality 2012’, created by leading hospitality recruitment website, Caterer.com.

The Caterer.com Best Employers in Hospitality awards  have so far attracted interest from leading industry names, as well as smaller businesses that are able to enter the independent categories. Last year’s Best Employers in Hospitality winners  included overall winners The Glassblowing House, with category awards going to Rezidor Hotel Group, Exclusive Hotels, Hallmark Hotels Manchester, St. Michael’s Manor, Living Ventures Ltd, Baxterstorey (Transport for London Office Greenwich), The Peach Pub Company, Walsall Football Club and Cherryred Recruitment.

With the deadline approaching for England and Wales entries to close on the 2nd April, businesses are being encouraged to enter early so they leave enough time for employees to complete the employee engagement survey before the cut-off date.

Entry into the awards - run in partnership with employee engagement specialist, learnpurple - is free. Businesses simply enter online at www.bestemployersinhospitality.com and will be emailed a survey link which they circulate to each of their employees for completion online.

The learnpurple survey ranks all entrants based on their responses. This creates the Best Employers in Hospitality Top 30 league table, and highlights a winner for each of the award categories. There is no judging panel and every entry that passes the 30% threshold in employee responses – will receive a FREE report with their survey responses.
